AASR Valley of New York City : Feast of the Paschal Lamb

FEAST OF THE PASCHAL LAMB

Every year on Thursday before Easter (the Thursday before Maundy Thursday) at 8:00pm, the Chapter of Rose Croix performs a Solemn Ceremonial "Feast of the Paschal Lamb", which is open to the public.  At this occasion, we recollect the moral values taught to us by the Great Teacher of Nazareth, and perpetuated in the Teachings of the Rose Croix Degrees.  This is also a Ceremony of Remembrance for Departed Brothers who have gone this way before us.

The main lessons of the Degrees of Chapter of Rose Croix are: that we should have Faith in God, Mankind and Ourselves; and that we should hope for victory over evil and the advancement of Humanity.  Our duties are to practice Virtue, work to eliminate vice, and be tolerant of the Faith and Creed of Others.  Our main symbols are the Rose, the Cross, the Pelican, the Eagle; and the Constellations called Faith, Hope and Charity.
